A Prosecco that offers true value for money

It pairs nicely with a summer salad and quiche

You have to hand it to the Italians for putting as nominal a wine as Prosecco on the lips of, both literally and figuratively, people the world over. That was some marketing success!

At one point Prosecco and the glera grape from which it’s made, were terms used interchangeably. In 2009 Italian authorities, in response to new world wineries using the term Prosecco, gave legal protection to the name by renaming the grape glera. At that moment Prosecco became a protected designation.
